Find Your Flow: Free Qigong in the Park for World Qigong Day

Breathe. Move. Brighton

April 2026

In April 2026, we joined people around the world to celebrate World Tai Chi and Qigong Day with free qigong sessions across Brighton.

We brought together three excellent Brighton teachers for sessions in Queens Park, St Ann’s Wells Gardens and Hove Park, creating an opportunity for people of all ages and experience levels to cultivate mind, body and breath in beautiful outdoor spaces.

It was a wonderful day of movement, mindfulness and connection, as people across Brighton joined millions around the world in celebrating the benefits of qigong and tai chi.

Looking ahead to 2027

We’ll be celebrating World Tai Chi and Qigong Day again on Saturday 24 April 2027, with another BNHF event in Brighton.

Details to come — keep an eye out for more information.

Qigong is an exercise originating in China that blends movement, mindfulness and deep, slow breathing. It is a gentle practice that can support physical and mental wellbeing and is accessible to people of all abilities.

We’re looking forward to bringing the Brighton community together again next year to breathe, move and connect.
